In Spring 2021 we will introduce new orienteering course that is taught English. In this course we will teach basic orienteering skills needed to start your individual orienteering training. After this course you have skills needed to participate weekly motion orienteering or simply go into woods doing orienteering for yourself.
This course is opportunity to get your very first start on orienteering or freshen up your old skills. Besides learning basic orienteering skills you get opportunity to ask and hear about possibilities to practice sport further

Learning theory in remote lecture (1-1.5h):
Basic theory of orienteering. Learning more about map, its colors and different features.
Thursday 27.5.2021
Orienteering practice in small groups 2-5 persons (1,5-2h)
Orienteering course together with group and teacher where theory is put into action. We will learn more about how to read map, map orientation, making route choices and how to use compass.
Within small groups its possible to ask questions
After orienteering practice we will give you further instructions how you can practice on your own.
The price for course is 40€. You can buy course also with only theory lecture and then its 20€. Registration is possible to be paid with exercise benefits: Smartum, Eazybreak. When paying with exercise benefits, contact karipekka.seppanen@espoonsuunta.fi
When being registered in to system you only need to add information that is marked as *. After registration you will receive verification on you email together with invoice.
NB! You only have two days to pay the bill. This is due to that we want to ensure registration possibility for all.
Registration does not make you Espoon Suunta club member and you will not receive membership fee.
Cancellation terms:
If, due to illness or injury, you are unable to attend any event, we will refund the participation fee. Otherwise, the participation fee will not be refunded.
